Pompeii
•Mount Vesuvius, a volcano near the Bay of Naples in Italy, has erupted more than 50 times.
•Its most famous eruption took place in the year 79 A.D. when the volcano buried the ancient Roman city of Pompeii under a thick carpet of volcanic ash.

Wiblingen Abbey's Library
•Located south of the city of Ulm in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

•It was completed in only two years (1882–84) on the Drachenfels hill in Königswinter, a German town on the Rhine River.
•Built by Baron Stephan von Sarter (1833–1902), a broker and banker, planned to live there, but never did.
•Drachenburg Castle is kept in the style of historicism and appears as a combination of castle, manor, and villa.

The Varna Necropolis
•It is a burial site in Varna, Bulgaria; and is internationally considered one of the key archaeological sites in world prehistory.
