Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Division / Department: Mechanical Section Manager
Area Responsibility: Design / Shop Drawing/ Site Supervision
Job Purpose:
The Mechanical Engineer is in charge of carrying out job under the supervision of the Project Manager / Mechanical Section Manager and M&E Contracting Department Manager. The Senior Mechanical Engineer is in charge to implement successfully the jobs under control of Project Manager / Mechanical Section Manager, including (not exhaustively):
Design of Mechanical part (cooling load, pipe & duct sizing and static pressure calculation, drawings…) in accordance with Standards (Vietnamese and/or International standard).
Liaison with known suppliers, or research of new suppliers (by respecting exclusivity agreement or strategic relationships of the company. May have), including participation of suppliers’ missions in Vietnam.
Preparation of tenders or quotations.
Discussion with Project Manager and M&E Contracting Department Manager on price level in case of centralized organization, the Mechanical Engineer must be coordinated with the different internal services of the company.
Senior Mechanical Engineer should be on Site for follow on Project and for “as built” documents prepared by Mechanical Engineer.
The Senior Mechanical Engineer shall also be aware of Safety and must take part on checking if the safety rules are followed on Site in coordination with Site Manager if any.
Area of education / experience required:
Design
Engineering
Other (CAD, Electrical software)
4 – 6 years working experience for those who graduated from university or more than 9 years if only based from experience.
Full of knowledge in Building Management System (mechanical equipment and devices)
Good English since line managers as foreigner
